Honey For Good

Dress like a queen and bring your hive. On Friday, October 16th, Honey For Good marks the finale of the 15th annual International Black Jar Honey Contest with a masquerade gala at the Renaissance Hotel in Asheville, from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Beekeepers from around the world entered this year’s contest, and every jar was judged blind: honey sealed into randomly numbered jars, then hidden inside black bags so no judge could see color, clarity, or grain, or know whose hive it came from. Tonight, the grand prize and category winners are finally revealed.

Fine attire is requested, masks are encouraged, and the evening includes small bites, beer, wine, and a silent auction.

Tickets are $50 and available here
